Constant 12v Glove Compartment (Fuse Box)

Hey Everyone,

I have a 2008 BMW 335i e92 and would like the communities assistance with locating a constant 12v source. The reason I will require this in my glove box is because I recently purchased the JB4 Mobile App for my apple iPhone and will require a cigarette lighter socket power source to power the bluetooth (USB) cable the JB4 module kit comes with. I have an aftermarket head-unit installed and had to remove my cigarette sockets from my dash and relocate my heated seat module there.

I have installed a cigarette socket in my glove compartment and have connected the JB4 USB cable and mobile bluetooth cable inside. This provides a clean install, however, I notices that the power source I tapped into does not stay on constantly when driving, which causes the mobile app to disconnect.

Below if a diagram from my fuse box:

Could you guys please help me identify which power source I should tap into to ensure the bluetooth JB4 mobile module does not disconnect from my iPhone app.

Thanks in advance for your help!

why don't you just tap the fuse in the circuit for the lighter you got rid of for your head unit install?

While driving? Never heard of something like that happening, unless it was improperly sliced and has a bad connection. I'd say the radio power source (the constant 12V line) perhaps?

On my 09 328i I tapped fuse #83 for a constant source. Has worked great! The best part was the fuse slot was empty so I used a spade connector and slid it on in. (aww yea)
