m/s switching to auto
Ok guys I've tried to search the problem can't find it can someone help
so I always drive my car with the stick on m/s mode changing the gears it's been having like a jerky feeling when I switch up in gears s rpm ometimes it gives me a little acceleration today I was driving and my car felt like it went to auto with my stick on m/s it stayed in the same of 3500 and I was in 5th gear switched it down to 1st gear still stayed in the same rpm basically looked like I was going 60mph on 1st gear. so I was switching my stick to D then back to m/s went normal then after 10 seconds did the same. had to turn off and on my car then it drove normal again. |

60mph on 1st is not possible. My guess it was a glitch or your wiring might be a little wormed at the gear shifter, sending some downshift signals due to some kind of electrical shorts. Te admission itself will not downshift to an unsafe gear. Say you are cruising at 70mph and accidentally click the shift paddle 5 times from 6th gear to 1st. The gear indicator will read M1 for a second or two but it will just shift down to lowest possible gear (3rd gear I believe) and display M3 at the dash after that.
FYI, you could use some punctuations in your writings. It was pretty hard to read what you just wrote. |

yes....might be worn wiring in the stick shifter.
Impacts the signals going to tranny. Check out this thread for a DIY on the repair: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=6at+wiring |
