I recently installed the ER charge pipe with dual Forge diverter valves. I would have liked to have (2) straight one inch connections to the charge pipe for the diverters. You may consider ordering an extra straight on if you're doing dual diverters. If doing a single BOV, no worries!!

Just make sure everything clears the intake box/cones before tightening all into place.

Enjoy.

I appreciate you considering our intercooler and I'd like to clear up some things.

Our intercooler is silver. It's the same color as the ETS, CPE and ER FMIC.

We also use cast end tanks which as you may know provide the same consistent result each and every time. There's no jigs involved or any mechanical error when creating one of our intercoolers. It's simply a matter of welding on the two end tanks. The reason someone may have a fitment issue is due to improper installation.

Since we are the least expensive brand, we're also the most popular FMIC option and the price point we target generally attracts the DIY guys who may not have as much experience installing an intercooler in comparison to a seasoned mechanic

Save 3-400 and get ambient thermal dynamic intercooler.
For this and a few other reasons, I ordered Ambient's unit...waiting on its arrival.

Pressure drop (i.e. IAT control/suppression/heat exhange) vs. flow (lower pressure drop but poorer IAT suppression), have to pick one.

When you've got meth on the car you're not as concerned with IAT control as meth takes care of it so you want to go with a better flowing unit. Without meth you want the best IAT control you can get out of your intercooler and given same size/size constraints there's no way around it but to have more pressure drop. Charge air simply needs to linger longer inside the core to be cooled down more effectively.

I have the 7" VRSF fmic and everything seems to be working straight. Recently the only problems i have had is the driver side intercooler pipe came off once and i tweaked cause i thought it was the turbos.
installment was pretty simple but im still trying to find a fix for the intercooler pipe coming off

I got the 7" vrsf intercooler . Im a noob and installed it myself. It was kind of a pain the first time but if i had to do it again id do it in half the time and alot smoother. It holds 17 psi steady with no problems. And for the price, you cant beat it.
