07 Sapphire Black Metallic 335i 6SPD Sedan Old Bridge NJ - Anyone here?
Hello everyone in the Tri-state Forum,
Looking for some info - HOPEFULLY from the previous owner that may lurk on here. Long time lurker here - minimal posting. My wife's F30 335i lease ended in December, and instead of buying it out, we bought a used 2007 335i Sedan from an independent broker/luxury car dealer in NNJ for a great deal. Couldn't be happier. The car is exceptionally well cared for. The first thing that tipped me off was that it has 2 full sets of carpeted mats, OEM all weather mats, and a trunk mat! This guy definitely has my attention ( I am a bit of a mat hoarder myself). It is a 2007 Sapphire Black Metallic 335i sedan, 6spd manual. Came with a rare item - a HUGE packet of repairs and receipts. I have the previous owners name, but I don't want to put his name out there. He is from Old Bridge NJ, initials J.A. Just wanted to talk with you, congratulate you on a well maintained vehicle, and ask you a few questions about some of the repairs I DIDN'T see. If you are out there shoot me a PM! I would love to chat! Thanks again everyone for your time. Best Regards, Ryan Last edited by g00b86; 02-12-2015 at 03:34 PM.. |

Hey everyone,
I hate to bump this thread - I really wasn't expecting to hear from anyone especially if the owner jumped from this platform. I was just trying to find out if this car was tuned previously. Tried all the tell-tale signs and couldn't be sure. One thing that threw me off was the frequent number of spark plug purchases for a car with relatively low miles. That seems to be the only indicator I could think of. Nothing from any dash command (JB4 or Vishnu Procede) engages so I would assume it was sold off if it was installed. Thanks everyone for at the very least reading my useless posts :end rant: |

^ I think at this point it was pretty confident that it was. Missing a cowl microfilter screw and the battery terminal cover clips are broken. There is nothing to say that it wasn't damaged by a dealer install when the battery cable was replaced, but given the number of spark plug purchases, I think it's enough evidence.
I just wish I could find this guy - nothing on social media outlets or googleing and I am not trying to get all stalker like. Thanks for the input all. |
