Tire fitment size question help
2006 e90 330i sport suspension
Stock 162 wheels Stock current tire size Front 225/40/18 Rear 255/35/18 Discount tire says I can go bigger can anyone confirm? They say Front 245/40/18 Rear 275/35/18 These are Michelin pilot sport PS2 run flat. I think I need to go wider for the wheel though. Thanks for any help. Jason. |

Why not 235/40 and 265/35? I wouldn't go wider than that on stock wheels

Only reason at this point is because I have not found the Michelin ps2 in 265 size and run flat.
I would eventually go to wheels V710 18x8.5 ET35 5x120 72.6 V710 18x9.5 ET33 5x120 72.6 But wanted to see if I could just go with tires first wheels later in the summer. After I posted the question here I went back online with discount tire and the rep apologized and confirmed 275 is to big for stock wheels. Should I just stick to the stock size find a different tire or maybe get wheels first then tires later? I do want to stick with RFT. |
