Funny, their crossovers and under seats are very similar to Gladen kit.

This must be the first BMW that made so many car audio manufacturers to decide to release 3-way and 2-way PnP in such a short period of time - Rainbow, Focal, MB Quart, Eton- after Audio System/Gladen and Jehnert.

Hopefully this will continue for other BMW's...

Has anybody heard these yet? I'm interested in how they'd compare against the Gladen and MB Quarts.

I truly do not think that somebody will spend that sort of money on that kit where Gladen and MB quarts are cheap.

I have read a german article comparing MP quarts, Gladen and Ion one. On their comparison Gladen was best.

If you look at the crossovers and the magnet basket of Rainbows, it seems that they have been copied by Ion one and gladen kits.

I haven't heard the kit, but I can also say that I have never heard a rainbow system ever not sound anything short of great. Not sure if that helps.

Also, the Jehnert kits all sound phenomenal for what it is worth. And I have heard/installed a ton of them in 3/5 series'.

My mids alone almost cost that much. IIRC, the Gladen and MB kits are not much cheaper...

Garage List
Not sure it's relevant anymore, but I have this Rainbow set for my E91 and I love the mids and tweeters. I haven't heard any others though, so my only real comparison is OEM. I'll be installing the woofers and matching coaxials this weekend finally, it's all run off an XD600/6. If you order from Germany directly, it's the same number but in Euros rather than Pounds, which makes a big difference in the cost.
