koni not sure if FSD shocks will work on 335 cabrio!
koni has informed me that although the FSD shocks "SHOULD" work on a e93, but they do not guarantee it. this is because they test all of their shocks on each specfic car before they officially "apporove" its use, and they have not tested the fsd on any 335 cabrio - incredible!
my question: the 335 cabrio weighs approx 300 lbs more than the sedan. 335 weight distribution is basically 50/50. so i am guessing that there is (COMPARED TO THE SEDAN): an "extra" 150 #s in the "back seat area" when my top is up, and say an "extra 200 #s when my top is down. isn't that the same as having 1 or 2 adults in the back seat?? since i NEVER have adults in the rear seats (just my 2 little kids at most), can i safely conclude that the FSD should definetly work on my cabrio?? note: i wan the fsd shocks to upgrade my STOCK shocks (not stock sport shocks). i already ugraded my STOCK sways with the M sways (keeping my stock springs for higher ride height - which i prefer) thanks

You may want to read this thread regarding extra weight out back with the FSDs:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85385 That thread is about issues with the FSDs and the Eibach Pro-Kit, but since everyone mentions that the Pro-Kit drop is minimal I thought it may be of interest to you. I was also thinking of going with the FSDs and the Pro-Kit to keep the ride comfortable since many people say that the H&R Sports are a bit stiff, but I may just go with KW V1s to avoid any issues. |
