When logging start about 3k rpm - 6k rpm in third gear WOT (wide open throttle).

Your oil temps are very low. what was the ambient temperature?

You should change your logging parameters. I cant remember them all but timing corrections all cylinders, timing cylinder 1, actual boost, afr, wgdc.

without these who knows whats going on.

I'm saying that this is a very poor log. Not a WOT pull, not the correct list of things to monitor etc.

I'm no pro but even tho OP didn't log the correct parameter nor did he give a good run I think this log looks bad. Look how many throttle closures he has, that's the most I've seen. Not to many timing corrections though.

Yeah, I thought I opened both logs but opened the 2nd twice. Was traction control off OP?

It doesn't look too bad. You have a few small throttle closures. Are you logging with traction control off?

Here are some recommend channels, keep in mind the wording in your specific tune may be different.

RPM
Actual Boost
Requested/Target Boost
Throttle Position/TPS
Ignition Timing Cyl 1 -6 or at least 1 and 6.
Ignition Correction Cyl 1-6 or at least 1 and 6.
Intake Air Temperature
Air Fuel Ratio/ AFR Bank 1/2

If you can still fit more channels then go ahead and add in the following:
Fuel Trim Bank 1/2
Low Pressure Fuel Pump PSI

It's hard to log every single sensor so you typically need at least the basics which are below:
RPM
Boost
AFR
Ignition
IAT

On this vehicle, it helps to a diagnose problems while including other sensors.

Traction control should be fully off, Wide open throttle the entire time from 2500 RPM to Red line. (or 6000RPM minimum).

Straight road, safe area, preferably flat or slightly up hill.

I believe the OP has emailed us on a number of occasions and we've instructed him on logging, the channels to add. The log posted didn't have enough info to put a full picture together and only showed partial data.

Feel free to correct my recommended logging channels as you see fit. I'm not sure what you guys specifically look for on the first log. Mine is purely based on my own experience and tuning experiences since nobody replied: I figured I'd at least chime in with something.

Jeff, your list is good but in most cases the AP will warn you about too many channels being logged. It used to be a warning but with some firmware versions it won't even let you ignore and proceed further. Our suggestion always is to set to defaults for logging when starting out and if for any reason we don't get the data we need we'd highlight what we need.

A great starting point are channels highlighted in BOLD in the PDF in this link:

https://static.cobbtuning.com/suppor...nitor_List.pdf

Specifically in terms of your logging channels list for Timing, we just need a reference to one of the cylinders to serve as a base timing reference and then along with that all the Timing Correction channels for all 6 cylinders. Adding both timing and corrections for all cylinders is not required and maxes out the loggable channels quickly.

I figured as much on the latter. This should be a good reference as many folks ask me about logging parameters. Ideally we want all but we can't have all at one time and all of them is a bit overwhelming as it can be distracting and unnecessary at times.
