Rear sunshade intermittent

I've had the D for about 5 months now and the only problem I have is the rear sunshade works intermittently. The motor is functional but the shade itself hangs up. This happens in all temperatures but seems to happen less in warmer weather. It will work if I get someone to press the button up front while I jiggle it in the rear. Anyone else experience this or have a solution? Thanks

I have had the same issue. Jiggle it and the next time I hit the button it may work or it might not. Motor tries but shade just seems to hang.

Thinking of using some sort of dry lube. Just need to figure out where to lube. btw, saw your location.... So, where the Fukowee? (No offense intended)

I had the same issue a few years back when I was under warranty. The dealership replaced the motor and I haven't had any issues since. Not sure if it's the same issue though. I didn't try the jiggle method so don't know if that would have helped it up/down. I haven't used it much since getting it fixed because I don't want to run into the same issue. Even if the motor weren't a concern, I see that my side, manual shades are beginning to fade so I'm sure this will eventually happen to the rear. I'm thinking about going with tint even though I enjoy the good visibilty I have (without tint/shades down) when it's dark.
