Picked up a used e90 m3 rear sway bar (22.5mm vs 13mm iirc) for $125 off the classifieds. They aren't much more new, but the bushings are fairly pricey from the dealer. You don't need the endlinks as the factory 335d ones are the same part numbers. I have to admit I love this mod the car no longer requires excessive throttle input to rotate in a turn. I've been wearing out the outsides of my front tires because of this car's predominant under steer characteristics (keep in mind it's an m-sport with a 27mm front bar stock).

Now I just enter the corner, turn in, tap the throttle and she graciously rotates Heavy throttle input will put it slideways

Some have mentioned that this bar might be excessive if you don't have a limited slip as it limits rear suspension articulation and thenceforth grip... which I somewhat agree with.

Last little bit of input.. don't try and sneak it in by lowering the rear sub frame without disconnecting the brake lines. Just disconnect them and get clearance. I ended up fighting it for a good hour.

This isn't my image, and isn't even the m3 bar, but rather a 20mm h&r bar.

I have noted a few debates if it is needed to go with an M3 bar or not. Some say it's an overkill and some get an E93 bar that is 1mm larger than this. Would love to hear more debate on this especially for our diesels and their crazy torque.

I take that back. Took LSD off and car is still a hoot. I do run MPSS though

My car is non M-sport. I have upgraded to non-RFT on the M-sport wheels. I will be performing the delete (EGR/DPF/SCR) with tune and will install an oil catch can. Everything else is stock.

My next wishlist item is suspension. So if LSD is not a requisite for improved driving fun (too rich for my blood anyway), what are the suspension mods you did that make the car more of a hoot to drive? Just the rear sway bar?

Not sure I can accurately comment on this as I believe the M-sports have a larger front sway bar paired with a tiny stock rear bar. This causes constant understeer which disappears with this upgrade.

I will be checking back to see further reviews. My car has an lsd and like half the tq of your car...and I have one siting in my basement . Visions of of trail braking into bus stop at the glen at 120+ and having the rear end come around too much.....

I wouldn't call the rear end unsettled, I'll try trail braking a bit more aggressively on my next trip to work's offramp and see if she gets hairy
