HELP! MFactory LSD shims??

The shop is in the middle of installing my MFactory LSD, but they discovered that they need shims to complete the job. The only place I can find has a set of 20 for $240 + shipping Does anyone have spare shims on hand from their own LSD install? We're stuck until we can track some of these down.

Last I heard they were almost ready. Seems to be a common issue with the install. Good to hear your diff installer is doing a proper job.

We've finished the custom c-clips, but are still waiting on the machine shop to finish the custom shims/spacers to go with them. The latest update they gave us was around 4-6 weeks

If you could give our facility a call though on Monday, and we'll see what we can do.

Ok will do. I had no idea how common the need for shims was and the potential delays involved would have held off on having the local shop crack it open since it's my DD.

One question: are you making the C-clips different thicknesses?

Our C-Clips are slightly thinner than the stock c-clip. We done it this way so that you can easily make up the difference with basic/common shims to set the backlash (it's described in our FAQ)
