Sorry to hear Sockets. That freakin sucks big time. Was the point of impact a painted area? I had my E46 egged. Egg hit the corner of A-pillar and roof and left a 5cm circle of chipped paint. Hopefully you weren't as unlucky as me.

Was a full blown, double egg salvo
Clearly a drive by
One struck the sill above the drivers side window and the other the top edge of the windscreen
Neither egg survived
Paint damage was minimal, buffed out easy with a super plush soft toy I used with some polishing compound
Otherwise spcgry pulled through ok
