Smile E92 - Rear Seat conversion . Anyone done it !!

Hi guys Just wondering if anyone has attempted to do a rear seat conversion on a E92 . You have this pointless console in the middle. Would rather have another seat for a great full rather it be uncomfortable passenger. THe BMW X6 has one. Just wondering if anyone else has done one. I could try getting an X6 one and seeing if I could mod it . But may be someone has a better idea.

Below is the X6 conversion kit.

You might need to check your insurance as these cars are 4 seaters.

Good luck with being able to legally use it for passengers.

no seatbelt either unless you add one...but as above your car is registered as a 4 seater. Not sure insurers would insure you for a 'DIY' additional seat. Its not been tested for standards etc and seat belt effectiveness

We need to fit a 3rd seat up front as well like the American trucks if we are not driving manuals

I was actually wondering about this myself when behind an Audi Q5. Aren't the Q5 5 seats and the Q7, 7 seats?
I never have back seat passengers though so it doesn't bother me. In fact I'd take the rear seats out if I had somewhere to store them.
