I was looking into MHD flash and other coding for my 2007 335i E90, did some search and I still have 2 questions and wonder if someone can help me with:

1. My car was built in Oct 2006, what OBD2 cable should I buy? I read BMW changed the cable type in 2007 but I can't fing out which one to get for E90s built before that;

2. Anyone had coding issue with 2007 335i E90? I wanted to code off the high beam and just leave Angel eyes as DRL but a local shop told me it can't be done because my car has an early built date...now I want to shut down the headlight washer so I can put on a M-tech front bumper with no headlight washer cut-out, I'm not sure if this can be done or not..

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

You should probably post this question in the coding section, this is the engine modification section.

yeah, 3/07 is the cutoff

before that, you need a harness for DRL, can't code it in (along with several other functions that got updated in the 3/07 FRM, you can't do alpina flash, etc)

but yeah, post in coding

Thanks for the info. No Alpina flash? Oh man, I was planning to do it later this year...
