Ken have you been able to log actual load values? All I can find is calculated load percentage. That doesn't really help when you need to know what load the engine is at.

The OBDLink LX is 2-3 times as fast as a generic adapter.

Boost is way off on Torque PRO. But I know you need to set the atmospheric pressure as well as the Vehicle Efficiency. Try AP -14.7 and VE 90. Cool app for the $, but don't expect it to be perfect as there is a lot more if the vendor just took the time to fix a few things.

I should have time this weekend to do more extended testing. Seems like the weather or family haven't allowed for much time lately.

I've switched my focus to tuning my flat line issues. Going to be posting in the "FU Flatline" thread today.

Sorry to drag this back up, but I was thinking about buying the OBDLink LX. A couple of questions:

- Is it able to read the BMW specific codes? A lot of the $100 scan tools can't
- How about tuner / shadow codes? Rather than getting the Bavarian Technic cable, was thinking of getting this, as I'll be getting a piggyback I'm thinking for my N55 engine car that's under warranty.

I wish I had the answer. I have tried talking to the companies that offer software for the device, but no one is interested in doing anything for BMW.

So even with all the stuff you posted that it can do in post #6, it won't be able to read any tuner type BMW codes, you're saying?

What about for logging things on my 2014 X3 35, which has a new ECU and the N55 engine of course, to make sure the engine is happy, before bumping up settings in my tune?

Do you know if the LX or MX (and if so, which?) can log stuff like like throttle position (as seen by the engine) as well as the actual throttle position (my foot), timing corrections on all 6 cylinders, timing on each cylinder, and other things like fuel pressure for high pressure and low pressure pumps, and long term and short term fuel trims?

If not, any recommendations? Could I do that with the BT Cable I assume?
