JB4 map 5 help please

So last night I had about 7 passes, car was running cool around 220... Half a tank 93 with 2 gallons of e85. The was running amazing! But north of 130 getting to 140 my car will basically put me into a safety mode and will basically stop my momentum... Any idea why?? I figured with the jb4 tube that wouldn't happen, any help please?

North of 130mph? This wasn't the 1/4 mile I assume..

You're probably hitting the speed limiter which feels like you're hitting a wall around 135mph. If you do a backend flash through MHD it gets rid of the speed limiter.. ask me how I know.

But it only happens sometimes... It's so weird I've done 150+ before on mile runs.. MHD backend flash?

JB4 doesn't go into safety mode until the oil temp is 270.

How many miles on car and current spark plugs?

Have you logged your low pressure fuel recently?

No codes? Oil temp may be good, how about the coolant temp?

Didn't you make this exact same thread yesterday?

I'm guessing heat soak still. 7 pulls and speeds up to 130 is going too work those turbo hard

What is the boost safety setting at? It could be set under 18 psi or could be at 18 psi and boost overshoots it's target momentarily due to the extremely high load. I believe Map 5 autotune can run up to 17 psi and would probably see that with some E85 so a momentary overshoot to 18 psi sounds plausible.

Map 5 will hit 18psi, he's on about E25 which should be able to max map 5 out at 18psi. If boost failsafe is 17psi, if I'm not mistaken, map 5 will just go to 17 then.

Only way to know for sure is to post logs. Without that, no one can tell you what the issue is
