E90 angel eyes
Hi all,
This has been probably asked countless times however I know of a few individuals who have purchased angel eyes for their E90's and wasn't too happy with the light output. I know most people recommend Depo angel eyes. I want to tear away from the halogen stocks and focus on getting projectors. Anyone have any recommendations? |

I have a 2006 BMW e90 and I was asking myself the same question a year ago. I ended up just swapping headlights and bought myself some e90 LCI halogen and customized them myself, unless you already have the xenon version for the pre lci this is my best option. I just thing the pre-lci headlights are ugly.

If I have to to go by your option how much would it cost altogether?? Also what's the diameter of these rings if I have to buy it off from eBay??

i also went from pre-lci halogens to lci halogens and added the lux v2 led for rings. i think it is a great relatively inexpensive error free upgrade. previously i thought the ugly amber lens and those pre lci halogens really let the car down. now with my oem black line rear tails and the lci halogens the car looks great (for an 08!). They are whiter than this pic shows.

yeah you should be able to do it. It's an easy swap I did the job myself and just spend some money on parts. I got a deal on the headlights and spend like 150 dlls each and the angel eyes with the projector were like close to $400, but it was worth it, I get compliments on them all the time.

Adding halo rings to a halogen assembly is stupid IMO. If not done correctly you will be opening/resealing the headlights over and over again. Just upgrade to a set of LCI style w/ halos and save the hassle.

The same can be said about modding a xenon set. Unless you're retrofitting xenon projectors, then I don't think it's stupid. |

I'm not understanding your question but if it was my car I do what sd_luis did and swap headlight assemblies. Customizing them is a much easier starting point.
