Stupid question. Why can't I add maps to my AccessPort??
I am completely dumbfounded about this and I know it has to be simple. I am trying to add an E30 map to the access port and it won't do it. I have the manager installed, I have all firmware updates installed. I am on Mac if that means anything. I went to cobbs website, downloaded an E30 map, went through the checkout. clicked download map, tried dragging it to the manager and it won't take. Watched videos, searched the forums, searched google. What in the Fuck am I doing wrong lol? I just want to play with my new Christmas toy already!
Also, why is there 11 different e30 maps? what does each one mean? dumb question I'm sure, but I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance!!!! |

I can't help it with loading as my ap came preloaded (bought it used). The different maps should be for different stages, and different throttle mapping (LT is linear throttle, ST for stock throttle). I believe the map definitions are described in the ap manager, they can be found in the ap if you press and hold the okay button when selecting a map to flash when you're in your car, and they can be found on Cobb's site in the map notes documents.

When you have Accessport Manager open, hit search for maps and select and move the desired map to the Accessport (which should be already connected to your laptop). Note, I was not aware Cobb supported Mac but i might be wrong on that.

Try freeing up some of the memory by transfer files to laptop or deleting MAPs and logs that you don't used.

The access port manager has a folder somewhere on your mac that the app pulls the maps from when you use it. Try dragging the E30 map to that folder. Also make sure you have the right map for the right ROM.
