Give the guy a break. There is a certain amount of discord with the banning of Terry. I mean, there is over 6000 views so far, since yesterday of the thread regarding his banning. And I don't know what happened to that poll, but I believe it was 3-1 or 4-1 in support of bringing Terry back. I think there were just as many votes in favor of banning Shiv as there were banning Terry. So, there was some heated debate. We are all human. Catdog has generally contributed objective posts before. In light of things that have been going on, forgive him if he was on the "edge" and a little defensive with his post. No biggie..we should all be able to relate to this.

Yup, I was looking forward to the Fontana open test and tune yesterday. But it rained out. It was the only open day in months. There is a private track date 1/18, but it is sold out. It is so frustrating. So for those of you that wonder why we run Gtechs??? Now you know why. At least it can give you some good data. I have made the effort to back up my data with the Vbox, track slips, and video. Can't say I didn't do my best to validate the results.

I would love to run at Sacramento. Just don't want to make the 6-8hr trip just to get there. Tempting, probably not practical for me.

Remember, dynamometer measures torque and power, time slip measures time and accelometer measures acceleration. Given that you use good equipment correctly, there is no question about which one tells more about torque, elapsed time and acceleration respectively. Choose the equipnent by the objective.

Take the car to a real track for a real test. I also have a Gtech (Pro) but I refuse to post any times as I strongly don't consider them accurate. You could be testing the car in a incline, in altitude etc.
Your times are good but they are a Gtech times not a official NHRA approved, calibrated, certified measurement equipment. |

Wow a Colt Turbo. I remember how excited I was over the Dodge Omni Shelby GLHS Turbo. Beat Mustang GTs. Don't ever see them on the road anymore. Kind of like the Chevy X11 (factory V6 hotrod) I have in my garage right now sitting next to the GN.

I'm glad he's over there now. When the dust settles here, we'll be better off because of it. He's already challenging people to race him again because his car is the fastest BMW evAR!!1
It's awful. |

Is he "Turboracer"? God, thats so immature. I mean I say some immature things sometimes, part of my Toys-R-Us personality, but why go around challenging people to a race and boasting about his numbers? He really must have a sad life. Clearly compensating.
