N54 engine glory holes. Every stud performs best after letting off some steam. :-)

E90 comes in nearly a dozen different engines choices in other markets, but only one front frame design. So some of the mounting points designed for components of other engine choices are obviously left unused.

I maybe wrong but I think they are just left over from the early design when BMW (M in fact) actually tried to channel air flow through the fenders, but realized they didnt actually work. They didnt put any body air vents, but didnt bother sealing those holes.

LOL

e90 was first released in 2005... M3 didn't come out until 2008... Just FYI... Guess which was developed first? There is probably more than a million e90 out there, and there is probably less than one percentage of which is a M3. You think BMW is gonna waste the tooling to drill these holes on all the cars just for an abandoned features from the M division?

Where did you hear this from anyway? Lemme guess, that uncle of yours who worked at a chop shop?

LOL...close, but at the dealer, when I was getting my car repaired for a pothole damage a year ago. I wanted that plugged, but thats the reason I got, and that it doesnt do anything. So I just moved on with life.

There used be a thread about the awful BS people hearing the dealer when these cars are still under warranty. You should have posted there, lol.
