Ignore that test it is very biased and completely not true (proven by thousands of customers who have this intercooler) Lots of politics between the 2 companies (mosselman and Wagner). Their intercooler and article you sent a link to came after a drift in the business relationship between the 2. I spoke with the founder of Wagner tuning about this article last week. Unfortunately i cannot post all the details about this for legal reasons.

Choosing and intercooler is a bit of a nightmare with so many options!
I am still leaning towards the mishimoto as I want oem connections and no cutting, and its a good price too. Oh and I live in Scotland so it doesnt ever get very hot so I think it can cope! lol Last edited by Rory; 03-16-2016 at 03:01 PM.. |

Anything is better then the stock FMIC. Well almost anything except those cut rate ebay intercoolers. You get what you pay for with intercoolers under $400 |

A proper core won't allow any light to pass through. The more light that passes through, the more air that is passing through your intercooler and not extracting the heat out. That's what separates a good intercooler core from bad and many don't realize the difference as they don't know what they are looking for. Like I said before, you get what you pay for. We've had plenty of customers who dumped their cut rate intercooler for the quality ones. |
