225/45/r17 and spacers??

Should I run 225/45/17 square or staggered 225/45/17 f and 245/40/17 r ?

I don't track, and it rains quite frequently in my country. Would staggered setup put me in huge disadvantage in the rain?

Also as I know the staggered setup looks better?

Oh fuck I just realised that these rims I have for summer are from x3 lol. Wheel style 305
Is it ok to use them? I kinda like them. 7,5J*17 ET:32
Will 245/40 fit them?

The rim is only 7.5" wide, stick with the 225's all around.

I prefer a squared setup anyways on the naturally aspirated E90s, there really isn't enough power to justify bigger rears and it just makes the car understeer.

Alright, could adding spacers be a possibility then? Should I add them to front and rear or can add it to rear only and they would look good? What size? 15mm?

i use 225.45.17 all around but with 15mm spacers only at rear axle. car looks great now and do not have the understeer that everyone was telling me. offset is the standard et34. go for it.
