12v acc/ignition power source in trunk?
Is there a 12v acc/ignition power source in trunk?
Pin17 going to the tcu/mulf, is that permanent or switched power? |

Seems so simple to just get a 12v power line in the trunk when the car is on but these cars make it impossible. |

I'm not sure anyone in this forum knows if there is a switched 12v power source in the trunk that turns on with the radio.
It's been asked 100 times but no one has an answer ha, bummer. |

If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't have suggested it. Fan power turns on when car is unlocked, and turns off approx. 10 minutes after you lock it.

Well the original thread topic is 12v ignition power source, which I have no problem finding, my question was for radio power like you just explained. I was just clarifying which question you were answering. Thank you, I will tap into the fan power.

I ended up tapping into the exhaust flap power supply right where the left tail light is, I unplugged this for the easier version of the "golf tee" mod. So far it has power when car is on, and not when car is off, we will see if it randomly turns off while driving....
