n57 engine

Hello

just brought a 2010 330d with the n57 engine and just wanted to know if there are any common faults with the engine i know the m57 has a few dpf ,swirl flaps ,EGR etc.. don't no if these newer engines suffer the same problems.

The oil filter housing (and cooler) is prone to leaking and currently the best bet is to replace the entire unit. Mine went and after trying to fix it by just changing all the gaskets it still was leaking we had to replace the whole unit as well as flush the system.
