Port injection 6spd manual no backfire

Any manual transmission owners with stage two plus turbos on e85 running well?

What controller and software are you using?

Currently have rb stealths and getting evos asap.

I have heard manuals are backfiring and breaking o2 sensors and inlet manifolds because of fuel not being able to turn off quick enough on gear changes.

The recommended way is to use a standalone pressure sensor in the intake manifold so that the sensor in the CP doesnt read the pressure bump from throttle closure. If your running the JB4 with PI integration it may shut fueling off and manage it better than just the CP pressure sensor.

I'm running Pure S2s with a Walbro 450 but no PI or meth, JB4 with MHD hybrid E85 flash and ~E50 in the tank. Mine backfires a good bit and I just got a 2C9E code for a bad O2 sensor. Mine wasn't backfiring before the 2step/NLS install.

I'm Pure stage 2, PI, HPF exhaust. I get a loud after fire when shifting during pulls, no issues though.

I'm not running jb4.

So as long as I put a sensor in the intake rather then a normal chargepipe position the backfires won't happen.

This is why I've held off pi.

I experienced same issues with my TBI kit.. backfires between high rpm shifts and occasional O2 sensor codes...
