N55 Stock OEM Downpipe
I know this is not the area. I'm targeting some owners that might have a stock N55 OEM downpipe laying around. I have one, but my studs are broken and I need to make a dealer visit. If you have one you'd like to sell cheap! Let me know.
Thanks!

I have one. What do you consider cheap? These units are stainless steel and very expensive to replace.

I'd sell mine for 400+ shipping right now! I'll even knock off 50 bucks for two broken studs!

I can knock the studs out and use bolts. I just don't want to raise any eyebrows when they look under the car. If someone wants to help me out, great! 400 is rediculous. Before long these downpipes won't be able to sell just like N54 downpipes.

Nobody is going to look to see if there are bolts vs. studs on the downpipe. Make sure the bolts are shiny and you are good to go. Toss a little paint on them if you have to.

OP, you probably won't even need to change out your DP. I've gone back to the dealer a few times now and I have FMIC, DP, CP and Cobb V3. Last time I don't even think I flashed it back to stock. If you still have CPO I'd recommend getting the N55 DP Fix. And if you're looking for what to do next on your build, I recommend suspension work. |

Unless you've got an extremely dick service dealer you should be fine for any work that can't be directly affected by modifications. Oil changes, routine maintenance etc shouldn't be an issue. I'd assume you're probably good for everything up until you get a fuel pump failure from running e85 - they might not like that.
