E90 320d fuel filter

What is the service interval on the E90 320d M47 fuel filter? Seen some people say every 40k and some say it's a lifetime product.

Secondly is it easy to swap?

Very easy, it's definitely not lifetime as it's marked in the service schedule and has a box for the garage to tick! I think it is 40k but they're so cheap and quick to change I do mine every 10kish.
