Hi guys,
I was hoping you can help me out in case anyone encountered a similar issue:

It seems the ABS DSC hydro unit broke down on my 07 e93 at 60k miles. No surprise there it seems as i've read it happened to many before.
What was the surprise was the price for changing the unit with a new one - aprox 2300$ at my local BMW dealer.

So i began looking for options for a used one, big problem there, because it seems they always have different codes. When i check on bmwfans.info i get different codes for the part even though it says it is compatible with various models, basically any 1 series or 3 series, wich arent LCI, 4x4 or M seem to fit but they do not offer the same part number code.

For example the dealer gave me this:

3450 6784811

When i go on bmwfans site and select the model and year of my car i get:

3450 6777160

for a 328 from 2007 i get:

3450 6777160

and for a 320 from 2008:

3451 6794650

Strange thing is that is says it is compatible with different models but when you choose a different model it gives you completely different part number.

So from your experience a different part number would fit? or it should be the exact number ? because they look the same only issue would be coding which it can be done only at BMW dealer.

It would be hard to believe that BMW opted to change the hydro unit for every model every year right?
