FS/FT: European airbox intake for N52/N51

Hi everyone!

I'm looking to trade my Euro BMW intake for your North American intake plus $250

For those who don't know, the euro intake uses a cone filter instead of a flat filter. Also, the filter is much easier to check and swap due to the fact that you don't have to remove the entire box assembly to get to it. Just undo the top cover and there you go.

Some people say that the euro intake allows more air through because of the increased area and that it helps throttle response. But everyone has their opinions on it. The reason I bought it originally was just for the look and the ease of maintenance.

If anyone local wants a euro intake, I'm good to trade plus $250 and I can go ahead and swap it for you on the spot. It costs $380 USD new from ecs tuning

Pm or message here for any questions or concerns.

Thanks!

Does the OEM filter need to have the charcoal filter intact?

I actually forgot about that part. Hmmm. I'm going to say no but would better if it did. Doesn't really do much if I remember correctly. Just reacts with pollutants in the air that doesn't get trapped by the initial paper filter.

So to answer, no it doesn't have to have the extra part. Everyone cuts those out anyway, right?

The box itself has to be in good shape, though. I'm just trying to go back to stock before I sell the car due to leaving the country.
