I don't have those problems with firefox..

If you right-click on the underlined word it "normally" gives you the correctly spelled word.

I'm really surprised you can't save images. I've used Firefox since it's induction and never have had that problem. Maybe the file you d/l'd was corrupt somehow.

The reason many sites are not compatible, is because who ever developed them did so with M$ IE in mind only and used M$ back end Web Services which violates the HTML standards as well as they have proprietary methods of doing things.

So Netscape started the revolution and set forward standards which was suppose to make it all an equal experience for everyone and then M$ step in and messed it all up and now Netscape has finally take the fall.

right click works for me. not sure why it does not work for you.

i'm not a fan of safari. when i use my gf's macbook, i use firefox too.

however, i'm not that familiar with macs. how do you correct the spelling of a word that's underlined in red while using a mac?

Right click too if you have two button mouse or option click if you have single button mouse, but first you have to turn on spell check while typing.
