I noticed also that some are pretty good and others are kinda really hard like they were frozen with a strange taste (they look kinda green) and actually they were not frozen because they came out of the same package...
I heard from my family and friends that they have the same potatoe problem.

This year the fresh ingredients were not as a good quality as usual for sure, but the potato situation is a hilarious one. They are practically free, an euro or less per kilo. You have to truly to work for it to find even organic blends that'll cost more than an euro and a half. And my dear, I did it!

There is only one blend out of the hundreds sold around here I accept for that stupid dish. I'm usually very strict about the ingredients but for this particular dish I apparently went mental again. I found a shop that sells the right blend, the only one anywhere near here. Turns out I wasn't the only one with mild mental issues since I shit you not, I ended up paying seven euros per kilo for all 45 kilos of potatoes I needed. I'm still brewing over the shop keepers nasty way of taking an advantage of my weirdness.

I'm gonna go and kick him in the nuts tomorrow.
