What do I need to do to fit KW v2 on my xdrive?
So I've recently bought a set of KW v2 coilovers that might need some work but were for a price I couldn't turn down. Looking at these they look identical to the v1 xdrive ones so if anyone has any advice let me know. I know the tears will fit since they are the same. Also I currently have Koni and h&r race springs and the ride is too rough for me.
So; 1.)If they cannot fit at all is there a way for me to run the KW spring set up on the koni's? 2.)Last thing, if I can't get them to fit and can't run the springs with koni's, how can I replace or refurbish the kw shocks? Or is there another shock I can run with the coilovers springs and sleeves. |

Bump. I need some input, I've been told the rears will fit no problem and the fronts can fit with some adjusting and will ride high but can fit. The fronts I think will need new inserts at some point and have seen people replacing the inserts with Koni sport inserts. So my plan is to either send them in to KW and have them replace the inserts and strut housing with a shorter v1 xDrive housing, or just use another xdrive coilover housing with a new insert and use kw for everything else. PLEASE ANY INPUT WOULD HELP, THANK YOU!
