Wanted to give a heads up on a website called score bmw parts .com The reason I'm posted this is because as long as I've been on here I haven't heard anything about this website. Now maybe I've missed it or something but I haven't seen it mentioned. This is Sterling BMW of Newport's version of getbmwparts. I have always utilized ECS Tuning, FCP Euro, OEM Bimmerparts for the majority of my OEM parts purchases because I personally think they have the best pricing. Not to mention free shipping on a certain amount and no tax but when it came to big items like bumpers, hoods, etc...... Freight charging always killed it for me. I've been in the market for a new m sport pre lci front bumper and have been searching for the best price I could find. During my search I have noticed that East Coast dealers like Faulkner BMW, Tisher BMW & BMW of Morristown have way better prices along with whole sale online shops compared to dealers locally to SoCal but again these items with freight shipping around $200 would ruin the deal for me. Then I found score BMW parts. I called and spoke with the guy who runs the parts department (Chris) and he said they haven't been around to long and try to stay really competitive with pricing. He's exact words were " I tried and stay cheaper than Tisher". I was able to get a new m sport front bumper cover for $600 + tax picked up. To me that was great because the cheapest I found it was from Faulkner BMW of Pennsylvania (BMW part source.com) for $576.10+$185 freight shipping no tax. Just for reference Monrovia BMW quoted me $920, BMW of Ontario was over 1k and New Century BMW was $860. I think I saved a good amount of money to say the least. Especially since Sterling is local and are able to get oem parts from 3 local warehouses to accommodate same day pick up. Again, I just wanted to make note for fellow members who are wanting/looking for parts that are on a larger scale and looking for something local to Socal for pick up and don't wanna pay freight shipping. Now I don't know if they offer the amount or scale of parts Tischer does but if your looking for a large item I think they are at least what I've been looking for. Just for reference..m sport rear bumper
Tischer - $604 Morristown - $604 Sterling - $588 Faulkner - $521 Hands down Faulkner BMW has the best pricing but if your local to LA/OC/SGV/IE/SFV You can pick up from Sterling BMW. I wanted to mention I didn't get prices from every single SoCal dealership so there might be another one with the same pricing I didn't find but just wanted to share my experience. |
