Damn that sucks bro, you barely even had any time to enjoy it.. Since you're selling all the parts I take it you're not sticking with an N54 in your next car..??

I will but im good with 400ish. 600+ at 23psi is way too crazy for me. I realized that when i have a 3 yr old thats way too much. Granted it was my "play" toy, but scared me to the point id rather be alive than chasing power rushes.

That is a nice car. You're a good father - those of us who also are reach the brink of "I could, but should I" and the good ones arrive at a safe conclusion. However, and fortunately, so much about why a 400 or 500 or 600hp car is safe is DRIVING it safely. You can have a monster but still drive it like your granny's in the passenger seat and save it for the track. Glad you're ok dude.

I appreciate it. Im sure we all have that inner child telling us that 700hp would be "cool"; but when you look in the back seat and see a child that matters more to you than "blowing the doors off this Z06".......that's when you know you've grown up and that responsibilities have overcome being macho. Sure we all have our moments of weakness, but that went away real quick when I was lucky enough to not have my son with me when I wrecked that crazy ass car. It was like a wolverine on crack that you let out of a cage.........you know something bad is going to happen yet you let it out anyways
.......turning the traction control off probably didn't help either |
