I used to buy everything on Amazon, but they have a ton of crap on there now. Lots of knock offs and random 3rd party people selling stuff. I have to look for "ships and sold by Amazon" to make sure it's not junk.

Also, the pricing is not so great. You can often find cheaper stuff by shopping around.

The main draw of Amazon is the convenience... otherwise I wouldn't use it.

Yeah, you can sometimes find better deals elsewhere on better quality products.

+1 on the better deals can be found elsewhere at times. Also be sure to check camelcamelcamel.com before buying from Amazon.

I got mine about five business days after ordering. One for me and one for my wife in the same envelope.

That's how the card company makes money! By having a cool card, you swipe it more at retail locations and the bank makes money off of transaction fees of each swipe.

You get a cash back incentive, the retailer takes a hit in fees who increases prices on products which pretty much effectively reduces the cashback incentive... so in the end you don't really come out ahead. The real winners are the banks.

Oh trust me friend.... I am far from "Pro Bank". They are all VAMPIRES. And the execs are severely overpaid and underachieving.
Unfortunately a necessary evil. Most of my money is at a credit union. But I play the game and use my excellent credit to leverage as much as I can.
