not possible to disable cold/warm bulb check with front fogs
does anyone know why it is not possible to disable cold/warm check of front fog bulbs on e90 lci module called frm3_e89.c32? car is e90 lci sedan.
i was requested from a friend of mine to disable clod/warm check of front fog. then i did the following code to diactivate as usual way. however the result was not reflected as 'nicht_aktiv' but kept as 'aktiv'... KALTUE_NSW_M2_37_M1_3_C32 WARMUE_NSW_M2_37_M1_3_C32 i attemted to change them to 'nicht_aktiv' from 'aktiv' but it was not... is there any restriction for this changes? |

thankyou for your comment. i tryed to do it with cautions a couple of times but was unable to make it... i have done many types of coding menus so far and have done other cold/warm disabling menus such as rear braks and revers lamps... i thought that there were restrictions on some modules especially for the latest one as it depends upon version... because one which is frm2 on my car was no problem... br//sono |

I didn't note the index file that was used though. If your absolutely positive the changes arent sticking with the proper profile needed, see if coding through nettodat will stick. If still no luck after nettodat, find the earliest SW variant available for that part number & flash over to it, then see if nettodat or TRC coding sticks..... |

try this one
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...78/FSW_PSW.MAN but double check which profile are you doing it with it should not be expert profile, i.e. manipulation should be on |

yes, did you change the following parameter to 'nicht_aktiv'? those are only the one you changed? KALTUE_NSW_M2_37_M1_3_C32 nicht_aktiv WARMUE_NSW_M2_37_M1_3_C32 nicht_aktiv yes, i did and changed to .man file for coding. in FSW/PSW profile, i ticked two boxes as below. however i always use profile created by ncsdummy which has enabled the following ones. FSW-/PSW-Trace FSW-/PSW-Manipulate with FSW_PSW.MAN br// |

no. i tried to change them but value remain the same (stay as 'aktiv'). The car i want to change is friend's one, not with me now...
i saw a similar phenomenon for bfd lamps. tried to disable bulb check but was not possible. then i found 'BREMSL_FKT_MIT_BFD' which enables both bdf and brake lights are working simultaneously. so i disabled this and tried to have bdf bulb check disabled. then confirmed it worked. therefore i thought that there are some conditions for the specific menus that cannot simply be working but some relation with others. br// |

ok, you are doing everything right,
i've searched and some guy on other forum had exactly same problem, and he got it solved after he tried coding with other key i dont have time right now to look into it, so if you got other key, try maybe somewhere there are restrictions of codings on keys for that lights |
