Winter Tires/Rims Setup
I just purchased a 08' 335i coupe and was wondering what the gurus suggest for the snow.
I would like to just put snow tires on the stock sport rims and get rims for the summer season. Or get a complete winter package. Any suggestions? Whats your setup? Thanks. |

I purchased an '07 335i convertible in October - it came with 19" Style 230's, so I bought a set of sytle 159's (which are 17") with Bridgestone Blizzak RFT tires. The car handles well in the snow we've had so far this winter.

Depending on how much snow you get, these pwn snow. Plus, they're one of the few R rated true snow tires.

I put Dunlop Wintersport 3D on the OEM 18's - work great in the snow/slush/wet, but they are just average on the ice

What about this thread you setup before?
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103548 Basically just go onto Tire Rack and try a couple setups to see what you like. Dunlop and Bridgestone seem very popular. My Dunlop winter M3s have been awesome this winter. No regrets.
