Blue smoke after long drive
Hi,
My beloved 01/2007 330d is "suffering" from a bad habit of puffing some blue smoke, especially after a highway drive at a steady 90 mph. When I then drive off the highway, after a few miles quite a lot of blue smoke is coming out of the tailpipes. I can cure it by putting it in neutral and giving it a good rev. The car has DPF removed. It's not regen as it has been properly mapped after removal. With 233k miles on the clock, the turbo would be an obvious place to go, but... I was thinking, if the M57N2 are using some sort of crankcase breather that could clog up or go bad - could that be the case? Troels |

I thought blue smoke was more of an unburnt diesel fuel issue. Possibly some is getting by and sitting on the hot exhaust. Check with your tuner and see if it's programmed to run rich, and maybe they can mess around with the fueling.

Har lige skiftet åndeenhed på vores E91 330Xd fra 10/2006 så vil da tro din også kører med denne.
Vores fejlede ikke noget men havde indsugningsmanifol af alligevel for at skifte ladetryksrelæ. |
