im honda guy, but i still got love for other brands. My first car was a 2000civic VP 4 door forest green. no sunroof no power windows with hubcaps lol. I added sunroof and flip out pioneer radio with double display back in 2001. I put 100k miles in 3 years, not 1 issue.

if i ever win lotto
i would have one of each, supra,nsx & rx7

Still just as much fine to drive today as it promised back then. Amazing car. Don't think we will ever see a car that is, that simple and that hard wired into your senses, again.
Reminds me of an autocross event I ran in. Was walking the pit/staging area and came across a Type R. I was with my GF at the time and said..."Look a Type R". The owner said, "Yeah, it's a real Type R and not a poser." That was when the sticker rage was starting to get out of control. I tell you those guys ran the piss out of that Type R and it held up. They were banging off of the rev limiter during their run. When I said they, the had a group of guys driving the same car. During the one heat, the car was staged twice with two different drivers. The first guy would run his heat, go back in to the pits, and then line up the car for the second run for the second driver. That car literally didn't get much rest. It held up to all the abuse.
I used to race a Civic with full Integra Type R swap (engine, trans, suspension, brakes). That car saw 9000 RPM on every shift for hour after hour, race after race for the four years I owned it. All I had to do was change the oil after each weekend, and a new set of spark plugs once a year. God I miss that.

People also have to realise what Honda was dealing with before making it a Type R.

Just saw a current Civic "Sport Touring" on the road last night. Already hit with the ugly stick.

What do you mean what they were dealing with? They designed the damned civic in the first place! Then they designed the TypeR. Doubly damning in my eyes.

Too bad, if it was under $30k, it'd be a great deal.
