INPA 4.4.7 - ABS DSC BRAKE trifecta
Hi All,
Apparently i need a copy of INPA 4.4.7. This is because I need to calibrate my DSC module as per: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...0&postcount=14 This is after I updated it with WinKFP and then reset it with NCS Expert, which has triggered the ABS DSC BRAKE trifecta. Can anyone assist? |

Background- I updated all modules and used NCS to code them all. Codes I get before clearing with INPA. I believe the trifecta relates to: 16 AFS - 614A F0 (Active Steering, Motor position angle:not initialized) 1C LDM/ICM - 62D6 70 (LDM: Interface DSC) 29 DSC - 5DD2 E0, 5DD0 E0 (Hydraulic unit:adjustment,DSC unit valves) Others: 00 JBBF - A6CF 61 (AUC sensor) Need to set tire pressure 73 CID - A468 64 (CID: No LVDS signal) Need to set clock Once cleared I get the "ERROR_ECU_REQUEST_CORRECTLY_RECEIVED__RESPONSE_PE NDING" message for 29 DSC and 56 FZD. I assume this is telling me the modules need to sleep to clear? Could it be; Car not going into sleep mode because the LED next to Park is not going out? One of the other modules is causing the issue? MDH flasher stage 1 be interfering in some way? Last edited by baturbo; 05-01-2017 at 06:53 AM.. Reason: New information |

Im interstate without my car or laptop at the moment but you go to the DSC menu, then actuations, run the resets for acceleration sensor and yaw sensor, steering sensor (set steering wheel straight beforehand) and then do the valve calibrations. You'll hear the ABS pump make some noise and it should be good to go from there.
Hopefully you wont need to rewrite your VIN and code the DSC to your car like you would a donor unit. The whole process is easier in ISTA/D but it's doable in INPA |

BimmerGeeks helped me out. Remotely logged into my car, setup the software and fixed the issues. All in about 20 mins.
Amazing service, worth every cent. Highly recommend. Last edited by baturbo; 05-04-2017 at 11:50 PM.. Reason: . |
