It would be nice if the chart was more readable

Just spoken to my dealer in the UK. Its available - its works like the E46 integration kit and is about £190 inc of VAT. He's given me the part number but there are differences in the kit depending of steering wheel and if you have NAV etc...

I suspect that the reason the sat radio is not mentioned in the list is simply due to it being a list from BMW UK, and the sat radio is not ( to my knowledge ) an option in the UK ... so you still may be OK

bakdraft: Ahh I see...really looking forward to this, hope to hear some news statesside soon. There was a DIY recently by someone in Germany? Well the factory instructions mentioned incompatibility with cars pre-wired for phones i.e. all US e90s and e91s...I would think with this news, they have worked around it?

Is there a more readable version of the Matrix?

The matrix does not seem entirely accurate. In particular WMA files do NOT work in the dashboard CD slot for vehicles with professional nav.

I think that I found the same with the DVD slot, but I only tried that briefly when I first received the car. It's worth noting that my car was built in Jan 2006, as compatibility may change with time and S/W version.

MP3/WMA both work in the CD changer

I had already been expecting this level of functionality after reading this forum whilst waiting for the car (thanks guys).
