O2 Oxygen Sensor - interval change 150kmiles/250000km

hey, anyone having experience with oxygen sensor change?
i read it is recommended to change it after 150k miles or 250k km

the question is does it always throw a code if bad?

for the most part yes it will throw a code. sometimes the code will not be related to the O2, so it could be tough to decide what is causing it. also given time and extended use it is possible the signal could deteriorate and cause poor fuel economy...
