Adding tweeters to base audio
I couldn't find a clear answer on this, I'm assuming I'm google-ing the wrong words. I'm sorry if it has been answered before.
I can buy a pair of salvaged tweeters (from the Hifi option) for cheap and would like to add them to my car, can they be added without having to cut any wires, are they plug-and-play? I don't have the money to make the upgrade to the Alpine kit or better at the moment so I'm hoping this will at least make the stock audio sound better. |

Likely it will sound awful due to the boosted eq curve the base
setup has to make up for the lack of a tweeter. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=graph |

Yes, they are plug and play, yes they will sound better than the filtered midrange alone.
Do it!

I did it last weekend and I must say the difference is definitely noticable. If you can pick up a pair for cheap from a salvage car I'd recommend it to anyone.
