How I fixed a bad FRM gonging every 5 seconds doors were opened for $90

it that doesn't make any sense.
Well I guess it does if the car alarms goes through the stereo. But all the other alarms would be gone to.

Correct. The gong goes through the factory head unit and through the car speakers, you can't drown it out by turning up the volume. Louder the volume, louder the gong. Installing an aftermarket stereo removes the "open door" gong. Problem solved
