Highly recommended for anyone that dislikes the change in sound you get when going catless. They basically have a very similar effect on the sound that the stock catalytic converter has so I think they'd word well regardless of exhaust and for most other cars too.
Glad it worked out for you

Now I wish I never sold my catless dp, swapped the oem mid pipe back in and installed these in them

Love the sound of my car with a VRSF Catless downpipe and stock catback, but it is still a little bit too quiet for me. Thinking about getting an M Performance exhaust or having a custom catback made with dual resonators. Can anyone speak to the noise/drone with MPef compared to the dual resonated straight pipe?

Will the 1792 and 1790 resonators both fit on N55 mid pipes? 1792 has 2.5 inch and the 1790 has 2.25 inch no? Where would they go also? Thanks

I used the 1790 personally.

There is space in a straight section just after the downpipe.

Below is the N54 exhaust, you can see the second set of cats at the back that N55 doesnt have.

Stick them there.

IIRC the Xdrive N55's have the secondary cats.

Catted Downpipe, PE exhaust on N55 sedan.
Perfection on the .. bit... louder side of things.
Excellent.
