BMW 320i E90 - No USB, HDD and CD/DVD problem
Hi all,
My car is BMW 320i E90 2011. The CIC (Idrive) have some problems as below and need your help 1. Checking... No song is played The fault happens with all the CD/DVD disks, but these disks are played well on my friend's E90 car. 2. USB port in the glove box doesn't work - When I use import/export from USB function, it displays "please connect USB device to interface in glove box" although the usb in there. - This usb is formatted with FAT 32, the file extension is mp3, max 320kbps, in the root directory and only 1 file. - This usb is played well on my friend's E90 car. - This usb port can charge the phone normally. 3. HDD no info - When access to Music collection, everything is grayed out - When access to Memory available, it displays "No info" - When deleting Music collection, it displays "Function currently not available" - I remove the Toshiba HDD and check it in the computer, everything is ok Moreover, Bluetooth audio streaming and Aux in the Arm rest work well. There's no USB port in the Arm rest. Here is my Sirius CIC and combox in the trunk. In the back of CIC, there's no wire connection to the blue port. I don't know what port is??? Since the USB in glove box doesn't work, I'm purchasing this one (USB/AUX) to replace the current one in armrest (only AUX), so it will connect to the black port on COMBOX? And then, be able to play music directly from USB or need to copy to HDD? |

Try the idrive forum also
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1447740 http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=368 Did this go bad or did you just install it? If you have two usb ports you have to have a usb hub I believe and the on in the glove box is only for downloading to the hardrive. Last edited by ctuna; 12-12-2017 at 06:50 AM.. |

the last one if for US market
