Exterior lighting issues
My car had the PCV valve and blower motor recall so I ended up getting a rental until parts arrived. My car has been sitting at the dealer for one month exactly in the cold at dealer. I dropped it off with everything working properly. I just picked it up today. They told me that a xenon was out and a taillight according to the dashboard warnings. I picked up the car today and it seems to be some weird electrical issue as the blinkers r blinking really fast. Front right blinker won't blink but the yellow bulb is on and the right sidemarker blinker blinks but the left doesn't. The license plate lights r out and when the headlights r on (only left xenon works) the right fog light is on and left is off. Hitting the fog light button makes no difference it doesn't turn them on or off. The halo rings r on right but off on the left. So I assume it's some sort of wiring electrical issue. Any ideas or is this a complete mystery? Is it from sitting in the cold for a month? Battery? I have no idea.
To make it simpler here's a list of everything: -Driver halo rings out -passenger xenon bulb out -right front blinker light not blinking but stays lit orange -left sidemarker blinker out -driver tail blinker out -fogs unresponsive -when headlights activated, right fog light turns on with the left xenon on (right one is out) -when four way blinkers are on it blinks at normal speed -blinkers blink twice as fast -license plate lights out My car is a 2007 BMW 328xi Coupe (E92, N52) - |

I would start with battery's condition then look at codes once confirmed your power supply is good.
Did you try to involve dealer with fixing the issues. |

Yes I tried to actually get them to claim responsibility. I'm not paying dealer prices for something that happened while they were in possession of the vehicle. They should be liable. Needless to say I will not be going back.

Just ran a diagnostic on the car and here are all the codes it threw. There's about 15 of them

Just received a voicemail from the original dealer who did the recall. They claim that "they have received some clarification from BMW and they want us to do a check on your fuse box wiring. This MAY have to do with your lighting issue. I can't guarantee that. " HA of course it MAY have to do with it right. Definitely not taking it to them taking it to another dealer and I'm still not paying for the original dealers mistake doing the recall work.

Car is fixed. Recall was done improperly. My new dealer fixed the mistake of my old dealer. The pin wasn't secured properly and was giving the FRM module 1.2v when it requires 12v. Definitely not going back to my old dealer anymore. New dealer only from now on. This isn't the last my old dealer will hear from me for sure. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else but if it does now you know.
