Misfire Woes

So last month, I was going WOT to get onto the freeway. Car jitters, shakes, flashes "service engine" light, then loses most power. I pull codes, & get misfires in bank 2 (cyl 4, 5, & 6) as well as an o2 sensor code for bank 2. Fast forward past the holidays, i finally get to fixing it. I've changed the o2 sensor, all 6 coils & plugs, & all 6 injectors to -12s. After installing the injectors & hooking everything back up, I decide to clear the codes & fire up the car (just to see if I get a repeat of codes). Sure enough, minis the o2 sensor code, I get misfires in bank 2 again. No DME codes, btw. I'm at a loss. I called a mechanic, & he freaked out. He said I probably damaged the injectors because I didn't code them before starting the car, that I have to code them before even installing them. I'm unsure, as I've never done this before. I'm going to do a compression check when I get home, but is there anything else that could be causing the misfires? TIA

If the car is not started what is the difference to coding them before screwing them in?

Without coding, the worse that would happen is poor fuel trims/running. It will not damage the injectors.

The mechanic you called is a fear monger.

So did the car run well after injectors being coded right ?

Partially educated guess here. I had the #5 mosfet go out on my DME (MSD80) It caused the entire bank (4,5,6) to misfire. It won't set the 30BA or 30BB until the transistor fails completely. I would get the mosfet transistors replaced.

I attached a picture of the transistors that need replaced, the part number I used is FDB14N30TM do some research to make sure before you buy any.

Fairly certain 2008 has the MSD80, check on that as well.
