I took the manifold of my 335d off in two weeks ago. It has a lot of carbon / soot build up in the manifold. To give it a clean, I took the throttle and egr valve off the manifold.

Now I have trouble to remove the pressure sensor shown in red circle? Any people have experience on how to take it off?

ya just pull..

it is a simple plastic barb in a round rubber gasket nothing fancy.. give it a twist first

Spray it with some WD40 or other lube. The rubber grommet might come out with it.

I hope that you had told me earlier. Yesterday, I spend quote a few elbow grease to pull it out. The main difficulty was there are not enough space to get a firm hold on it. The sensor has a barb shape nozzle sealed by a rubber grommet.

Make sure that you use a new grommet when putting it back it in.

I’ve reused 2 times. Have to be careful to not rip it though.

Replacing the rubber o-ring is always a good idea. It's cheap and good preventative maintenance. Also, it's been exposed to many heat cycles so pulling the sensor out for the first time in a few years could damage it.

That being said, reusing it always works in a pinch. When I replaced my calve cover the sensor seemed to have a lot of play in its slot. Replacing the o-ring made it more sturdy.
