remove this sensor from intake manifold
I took the manifold of my 335d off in two weeks ago. It has a lot of carbon / soot build up in the manifold. To give it a clean, I took the throttle and egr valve off the manifold.
Now I have trouble to remove the pressure sensor shown in red circle? Any people have experience on how to take it off? |

Replacing the rubber o-ring is always a good idea. It's cheap and good preventative maintenance. Also, it's been exposed to many heat cycles so pulling the sensor out for the first time in a few years could damage it.
That being said, reusing it always works in a pinch. When I replaced my calve cover the sensor seemed to have a lot of play in its slot. Replacing the o-ring made it more sturdy. |
