I am having a similar problem, completely losing power at 3500 rpms in 4th gear, ABS and DSC lights, but no engine lights.

Did you ever find a solution?

Is the car actually going into limp mode? No message about reduced power on MFI or Nav screen? No codes for fuel rail pressure or anything? Try scanning with Carly for BMW when it does it next time. If truly no messages and no codes, I'd suggest re-seating all DDE connectors just for 'why not'.

Jumping on this thread - I have just purchased my first 335d 2007 with 80k on the clock and have experienced an intermittent Power Loss fault that I am hoping you guys can point me to possible culprits to check. Issue as follows:

1. Power loss occurs intermittently 7/10 times when i floor the accelerator
2. Car will shift down and rev up but its flat no power and just sits there slowly gaining speed.
3. It happens in both D and DS modes.
4. Seems worse when travelling at speed.
5. Seems to happen across the rev range and as mentioned intermittently
6. Sometimes the car will accelerate flawlessly so I think the Turbos and Box are OK

Any help would be much appreciated.

Log boost to be sure. If certain it is transmission, start with a full transmission service, including filter and all seals.
